Today, Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, the Executive Chairman of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Obiora Obeagu, has signed G-17 Endorsement Register, officially endorsing Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for Second Tenure, welcomed the high-powered delegation of G-17 For Peter Mbah to Isi-Uzo Local Government Area as the grassroots political movement inaugurated its Local Government and Ward Executives at the Isi-Uzo Local Government Secretariat.
At the event, the council chairman reaffirmed his total support for the re-election of the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, ahead of the 2027 governorship election, while pledging to work closely with the organic grassroots structure of G-17 to consolidate the governor's overwhelming support across all electoral wards and polling units in Isi-Uzo.
The inauguration, led by the Convener, Board of Trustees Chairman and Director-General of G-17 For Peter Mbah, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, attracted political leaders, party stakeholders, women, youths, traditional leaders, and grassroots mobilisers, who declared their readiness to intensify ward-to-ward and door-to-door mobilisation in support of Governor Peter Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
