Enugu– The Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Nkanu East as they ushered in the month of July.
Hon. Edeh, who also serves as Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Enugu State Chapter, Chairman of ALGON South East, and Deputy National Publicity Secretary of ALGON, expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for His grace, mercy, and faithfulness in preserving lives and ushering the people into another month.
In his new month message, the council boss prayed that July would bring renewed hope, divine favour, good health, peace, and abundant opportunities to every family in Nkanu East Local Government Area.
He urged residents to remain united, peaceful, and law-abiding, emphasising that collective efforts and continued support for government programmes are essential for the sustained growth and development of the area.
Hon. Edeh reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to purposeful leadership, good governance, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach all wards in the council.
He also called on the people of Nkanu East to sustain their support for the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose transformational policies and developmental initiatives, he noted, are positioning Enugu State for greater economic growth and prosperity.
“As we begin this new month, let us renew our commitment to peace, unity, hard work, and community development. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous and united Nkanu East,” Hon. Edeh said.
The ALGON leader concluded by wishing the good people of Nkanu East a fruitful and fulfilling month, praying for joy, success, divine protection, and abundant blessings upon every household.
