After more than two decades of anticipation, Arsenal have been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Premier League, sealing a historic triumph under manager Mikel Arteta.
The title was confirmed on Tuesday night following a 1-1 draw between Manchester City and Bournemouth, a result that mathematically ended City’s hopes of catching the Gunners with just one game left in the season.
City, managed by Pep Guardiola, needed a win to push the title race to the final day. However, Bournemouth took the lead through Kroupi Junior, who curled in a fine effort past Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Despite late pressure, City struggled to convert their chances, with David Brooks missing key opportunities before Erling Haaland fired in a late equalizer.
The result confirmed Arsenal as champions, marking their first league title in over 20 years. The North London side will officially lift the trophy during their final match of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
