The State Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), led by Dr. (Sir) Martin Chukwunweike, visited Oji River and Udi Local Government Areas (LGAs) on December 17, 2024, for the inauguration of the local and ward party executives. The event highlighted strong support for Governor Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, with local government chairmen praising his visionary leadership and transformative projects across Enugu State. They expressed their commitment to advancing the Governor's initiatives in their areas, affirming that his work has laid a solid foundation for the party's success in future political endeavors.
...Following the ongoing party inaugural visit to the LGAs, The State Executive committee of PDP led by the state Chairman Dr. (Sir) Martin Chukwunweike today 17th of December 2024, visited Oji River and Udi local government areas respectively for the Inauguration of the local government party Excos and the ward party Excos.
At the event, the Executive chairmen of the local government areas stated precisely in appreciation that the Executive Governor of Enugu state, Barr. Dr Peter Ndubisi Mbah is a God sent, also, they appreciated the state party leadership for their constructive and wise leadership in the party. Moreso, they pointed out that His Excellency the Governor has in the past few months, shown to be a man of integrity and a leader with a sustainable prowess, adding that they are all following his guidelines to actualize the *mantra* of the Governor in their various localities . However, they stated that the Governor Dr. Barr Peter Ndubisi Mbah has shown the world that it is possible for one to govern efficiently with a meager financial resource , they also stated that the great works of the Governor is evidently visible all over the state and as such without any ado, must be replicated in their respective localities.
In their remarks, they pointed out their individual ongoing projects which form as a replication of what the state Governor is currently doing in their local government areas, that is proportionally and rationally divine for all local government areas and Ndi' Enugu in general. Furthermore, they assured the Party leadership that owing to the Governor's innovative projects, all party struggles will be a mere tackle as the Governor in his great and selfless works has made all easily achievable for their individual local government areas.
In summary of their remarks, they thanked the Governor for his wonderful and divine intervention in Enugu state, adding that he is a man of great repute who is set to liberate Enugu state from poverty and securing the future of the generation yet unborn. In this regards, they affirmed that the campaign of the year 2027 will be a mere formality as their local government areas are fully prepared to deliver optimally in all aspects of any political struggle.
In their further speech, they commended the peaceful leadership of the state party chairman, Dr. (Sir) Martin Chukwunweike and pleaded with the state party chairman to please extend their undiluted gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah for his actions on disruptive innovation and dynamic style of leadership in the state.
Giving his opening remarks, the state party chairman, Dr (Sir) Martin Chukwunweike lauded the chairmen and assured them that their heartfelt gratitude and sincere regards will be adequately extended to the Governor. In his speech, he encouraged the party executive members of the local government areas and ward Excos to adapt to peaceful political understanding as the peaceful co-existence of the party faithfuls will sustainably bring the party to an enviable political end. Subsequently, he pointed out that the Governor in his nature of integrity, is committed to bringing all his campaign promises to fruition adding that his numerous projects in the state is evident enough to prove his integrity and poised nature.
However, the state party chairman in his remarks informed all that the reason for the Inauguration as approved by the state Governor, is to engineer a very strong political structure within the party, also to further solidify the walls of the party structure. He then encouraged all party faithfuls in the respective local government areas visited to give their full support to the elected local government and ward excos, adding that leadership is turn by turn. In his speech, he also stated that Dr Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah is the only Governor in Nigeria that has achieved projects in different wards of the state.
In his statement also, he informed all party faithfuls in the local government areas visited that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCON) will be in Enugu state precisely 19th of December, 2024, to commission the great works of Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah achieved in less than two years which never happened in the history of our dear state.
In the same vein the newly elected Excos were informed of the innovative procedure carved by the state party chairman to ensure that all Local Government Excos and all ward Excos will have an ID card as a means of Identification against all odds.
The local Government party Excos were Inaugurated by the state party Chairman Dr. Martin Chukwunweike while the local government party chairmen in the respective LGAs visited, inaugurated the ward excos.
Dr (Sir) Martin Chukwunweike also encouraged the Inaugurated excos to follow the part of peace and all inclusiveness as that is the sustainable engagement of our leader, the Governor.
Summarily, the State party Chairman appreciated the local government chairmen for their warm reception, their appreciative remarks, gratitude to the Governor and their willingness to follow the footsteps of the Governor.
In the remarks of the local government areas' stakeholders, they thanked, appreciated and extended their unreserved gratitude to His Excellency the Governor for his innovative leadership and people oriented commitments in their localities.
They also congratulated the state party chairman for his emergence as the coordinating Chairman of PDP in South East.
They also expressed their overflowing joy and appreciation to the Governor for their respective Inauguration and further assured the party leadership that all political struggles and engagements in their respective local government areas will be a great success as the Governor has made all easy for everyone to believe that our great party PDP is the sure train to carry all into a great and secured future.
It is purely evident that, indeed our tomorrow is here
