Balija Eye Care Foundation Honors Enugu Commissioner Mrs. Ngozi Enih with Heartfelt Birthday Tributes

The Balija Eye Care Foundation sends tribute to Enugu State Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Enih, on her birthday, celebrating her compassionate leadership and dedication to service. The foundation’s CEO, Dr. Jude Ilodibe Onoja, led these tributes, describing Mrs. Enih as an inspiring leader who has made a significant impact in her role. He praised her for her dedication to improving the welfare of women and children, as well as her collaborative spirit, which has enriched partnerships within the healthcare sector.

Reflecting on their recent joint initiative, Dr. Ilodibe highlighted Mrs. Enih's role in the "Sight is Life for Enugu Women" project, a two-day eye care outreach held in August 2024. The project provided free screenings, glasses, and follow-up surgeries to over 1,300 women. Mrs. Enih’s active involvement and support made the event a success, underscoring her commitment to expanding healthcare access, especially for underserved populations. This partnership, he noted, exemplifies her hands-on approach to leadership and passion for addressing critical health needs.

In his message, Dr. Ilodibe extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Mrs. Enih, expressing gratitude for her commitment to her community. “Happy Birthday, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Enih! Today, I join countless others in celebrating a truly exceptional leader. Your resilience and dedication inspire everyone around you, including our team at Balija Eye Care Foundation. You have set a benchmark for what it means to serve with heart and purpose,” he remarked.

Hon. Mrs. Enih’s efforts within the Enugu State Ministry of Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development have been transformative, particularly in areas like domestic violence prevention and youth empowerment. Her initiatives have created scholarships, vocational training, and critical support for vulnerable groups. As Enugu State celebrates her, Mrs. Enih stands as a model of compassionate leadership and a beacon of hope for many in her community, advancing Governor Peter Mbah’s vision for inclusive progress.
