Mr. Boniface Okonkwo, originally from Adaba in Uzo-Uwani, residing in Kaduna State, sought urgent assistance for a complicated leg growth. Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme swiftly addressed his medical concerns, demonstrating its commitment to reaching individuals even in distant locations.
Okoro Stella from Amalla Orba in Udenu Local Government Council, burdened by a giant Lipoma on her back, found relief through Lumpectomy performed by the program. Testifying to its effectiveness, Mrs. Stella expressed gratitude for the restoration of her health. Additionally, Mr. Onah Godwin Onyish, hailing from Orba, received surgical correction for Bilateral Inguinoscrotal Hernia with associated Hydrocoele, further highlighting the diverse medical support provided by the initiative.
Dr. George Ajogwu, overseeing the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, emphasized the program's substantial impact on the lives of Enugu citizens. Founded and funded by former Governor Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the initiative aligns to support the current administration led by His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah, and his Deputy, His Excellency, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.

Reports indicate that since its inception, the healthcare initiative has saved over 1,300 lives, a testament to Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's commitment. The continued success is attributed to additional funds injected by Ugwuanyi, including the procurement of a utility vehicle for the medical team, enhancing the reach and efficiency of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme.
