The programme also known as Household Upliftment Programme, which has been running now for a while, is coordinated by the Enugu State Cash Transfer Unit and targets the extreme poor in Nsukka LGA and others.
Welcoming the beneficiaries in the usual hospitable gesture of Nsukka LGA, under his watch, The People's Mayor who was represented by his Executive Secretary, Hon. Mike Ugwu, advised the beneficiaries, to follow the directives of the benefactors and keep their identification documents safe.
Encouraging the beneficiaries and the good people of Nsukka LGA to always take advantage of such programmes, The People's Mayor reassured the Enugu State Cash Transfer Unit of his administration's readiness to support her programmes and other organizations with the requisite enabling environment.
