The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah has expressed deep sadness and grief over the passing of the Enugu State-born lawyer, Dr Khrushchev Ekwueme, extolling him as “one of Nigeria’s finest, globally renowned, peerless lawyer in international maritime, arbitration, dispute resolution and public interest litigation”. Mbah in a statement personally signed by him and issued by his media office in Enugu, on Saturday, described his demise as “a great loss to Enugu State and the legal profession where he distinguished himself with many indelible contributions to his credit”.
