...Selected Participants to access equipped training hubs, job-placement pathways and remote freelance opportunities

The Enugu State Government has reaffirmed that the iDICE Skill-to-Job Training Programme is completely free and open to eligible youths aged 18 to 35 residing in any of the state’s 17 Local Government Areas.

The programme offers young people opportunities to acquire practical, market-relevant skills designed to improve their employability, create income-generating opportunities and support entrepreneurship.

Promoted through the **Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center)**, the initiative provides training across three major pathways: Digital and Online Skills, Applied Technology and Trades, and Business and Entrepreneurship.

Under the Digital and Online Skills pathway, participants can acquire skills in Business Process Outsourcing and Customer Experience, Virtual Assistance, Digital Marketing, Data, IT Support, Software and other digital services.

The Applied Technology and Trades pathway covers areas such as Animation and Creative Production, Fashion, Leather and Footwear, Automotive, Solar and Green Technology, as well as other practical technical skills.

For youths interested in establishing or expanding businesses, the Business and Entrepreneurship pathway offers training in Business Development, Financial Management, Sales, Digital Commerce, Market Access and Enterprise Management.

**Beyond training, the programme offers selected participants access to additional opportunities designed to connect skills acquisition with the workplace.**

These include approved local training hubs equipped with computers, reliable power supply and high-speed internet, alongside structured pathways to job placement and support for accessing remote freelance opportunities.

The programme is intended to help participants move beyond acquiring certificates to developing practical competencies that can be applied in employment, freelance work or business ownership.

By opening applications to eligible youths across all 17 LGAs, the initiative seeks to make skills development accessible to young people throughout Enugu State, including those outside the state capital.

The programme also provides opportunities for students, graduates, job seekers, creatives, artisans and aspiring entrepreneurs to choose training pathways that align with their interests and career goals.
