Comrade Ugwu Michael Okwudili, popularly known as Alhaji Jango, has expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for appointing him as a member of the state's Development Centres, alongside other administrators and members appointed across the 68 Development Centres.

Alhaji Jango, speaking on behalf of his family and the entire Ogbeke Nike Autonomous Community in Enugu East Local Government Area, described the appointment as a demonstration of Governor Mbah's commitment to inclusive governance, grassroots participation and the effective delivery of development to communities across the state.

He commended the governor for recognising the importance of the Development Centres as a strategic platform for bringing governance closer to the people, addressing community needs and ensuring that the benefits of government programmes reach residents at the grassroots.

According to him, the appointments reflect the administration's determination to strengthen local participation in governance and create more opportunities for individuals to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities.

Alhaji Jango particularly appreciated Governor Mbah for the confidence reposed in him through the appointment, describing it as both an honour and a call to greater service. He pledged to justify the trust placed in him by working diligently towards the advancement of his community and the overall development of Enugu State.

He also acknowledged the governor's development-driven leadership and commitment to translating his *Tomorrow Is Here* vision into tangible progress across the state, noting that sustainable development requires collaboration between the government and people at the grassroots.

While congratulating the other appointees, Alhaji Jango urged them to see their appointments as a responsibility to serve with humility, integrity, dedication and accountability. He called on them to work harmoniously with relevant stakeholders, community leaders and residents to promote peace, unity and development in their respective areas.

He further encouraged Ndi Enugu to continue supporting the Mbah administration's policies and programmes, stressing that collective responsibility and constructive cooperation remain essential to achieving the state's development aspirations.

On behalf of his family and the entire Ogbeke Nike Autonomous Community, Alhaji Jango reiterated his appreciation to Governor Mbah for the opportunity to serve, assuring the state government of his commitment to contributing positively to grassroots development and the realisation of a more prosperous Enugu State.

He concluded by praying for God's continued wisdom, strength and protection for Governor Mbah as he continues to lead the state towards greater progress and sustainable development.
