The traditional ruler of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom, Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, His Royal Highness, Igwe Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr, has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree by the University of East London.
Igwe Ogbonna made this known on Sunday, in a congratulatory message that he sent to newsmen in Enugu.
He stated that the honour was a recognition of Governor Mbah’s hard work, education, leadership and service, noting that his journey from a law student at the University of East London to a lawyer, successful entrepreneur and Governor of Enugu State remained a source of inspiration to many.
The traditional ruler also commended the attention which the Mbah administration had given to education, skills development, innovation and the welfare of young people, describing the efforts as a sign of a clear vision for the future of Enugu State.
He also stated that ,the honour had also shown the value of education, determination and service to humanity, while praying that Almighty God would continue to grant Governor Mbah wisdom, good health and strength to lead Enugu State and contribute positively to the development of Nigeria.
The Monarch further expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Governor on the well deserved honour, and wished him many more honours and greater achievements in the service of the people.

I warmly congratulate the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree by the University of East London, United Kingdom. This great honour is a recognition of a life of hard work, education, leadership and service.
The journey from a law student at the University of East London to a lawyer, successful entrepreneur and Governor of Enugu State is a source of inspiration to many.
