What began with enumeration centres across our 17 Local Government Areas has translated into real capital in the hands of *18,244 verified nano and micro entrepreneurs across Enugu State*, with each beneficiary receiving a *₦50,000 non-repayable grant* under the Federal Government’s Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme.
That represents approximately *₦912.2 million injected directly into grassroots businesses across Enugu State* — supporting traders, artisans, food vendors, creatives, transport operators, ICT entrepreneurs and other small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy.
This outcome reflects the deliberate approach of the administration of *His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah*, to ensure that opportunities available at the Federal level are not merely announced in Enugu, but are actively taken to our people and converted into measurable economic impact.
Under His Excellency’s leadership, we established multiple enumeration and support points across the State, mobilised applicants at the grassroots and worked to ensure that eligible Enugu entrepreneurs could participate effectively in the programme.

Beyond the numbers are thousands of people: the market woman restocking her shop, the shoemaker purchasing materials, the food vendor expanding daily production, and the artisan acquiring the tools needed to earn more.
This is what access to finance should ultimately mean,*putting capital closer to the people who create livelihoods, sustain families and keep our local economy moving.*
