Enugu youths are set to benefit from a new employment opportunity as PPG – Power Lotto, in partnership with the Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Enugu State Gaming Commission, launches a youth employment programme aimed at recruiting and training 100 young people as Sales Agents across selected locations in the state.
The initiative is designed to create income opportunities for young people while equipping them with practical business and entrepreneurial skills that can support their economic independence and strengthen community-level participation in the lottery industry.
The programme will recruit youths from selected areas across Enugu North and South, Enugu East, Nkanu West and other parts of the state. Target locations include Ugwaji, Ogbete, Holy Ghost, Emene, Abakpa, Timber/Trans-Ekulu, Agbani, Udi, Oji River, Obollo, Garki and Topland Eke Otu.
According to the organisers, successful participants will have the opportunity to build a source of income, develop valuable business skills at no cost and contribute to their communities while becoming part of an effort to change the perception of lottery in Enugu.
“Lottery can be more than winning; it can be a force for good,” the organisers stated, underscoring the programme’s focus on using the sector as a platform for youth empowerment and economic participation.

Registration is scheduled to close on August 29, 2026, while training for selected participants is expected to commence on August 31, 2026.
The initiative is expected to provide participating youths with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, customer engagement and business development while connecting them to a structured income-generating platform.
With 100 positions available across the selected locations, eligible youths in Enugu are being encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity and register before the deadline.
