…Commend Governor Peter Mbah for ensuring a peaceful and credible election

The Kpakpando Women Support Group For Peter Mbah and the City Boy Movement Women Wing, Enugu Chapter, have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Senator-elect for Enugu North Senatorial District, Chief Ikeje Asogwa (Ide of Iheaka), following his overwhelming victory in the June 20 senatorial bye-election.

The congratulatory message was jointly conveyed by the Convener of the Kpakpando Women Support Group For Peter Mbah and the Enugu State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement Women Wing, Enugu Chapter, Amb. Mrs. Amaka Nweke, JP, who described the victory as well-deserved and a reflection of the confidence and trust the people of Enugu North have in the leadership capacity of Chief Asogwa.

According to her, the Senator-elect's emergence at the polls is a testament to his years of service, grassroots connection, and unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Enugu North Senatorial District.

Amb. Nweke commended the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for providing adequate security and creating an enabling environment that ensured the conduct of a peaceful, free, and credible election across the senatorial district.

She noted that the smooth and successful exercise further demonstrated the governor's commitment to democratic principles and the protection of the people's right to freely choose their representatives.

The women leader also commended members of the two groups, particularly the women across the six local government areas of Enugu North Senatorial Zone, for their immense support and dedication throughout the electioneering process.

She gave special recognition to the coordinators of the six local government areas, describing their commitment and tireless mobilization efforts as instrumental to the success recorded during the election.

"I sincerely appreciate the women of the Kpakpando Women Support Group For Peter Mbah and the City Boy Movement Women Wing, Enugu Chapter, for their unwavering support and commitment. I particularly commend our coordinators in the six local government areas who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this electoral exercise. Amb. Nweke further expressed optimism that the victory of Chief Ikeje Asogwa would usher in quality and impactful representation for the people of Enugu North Senatorial District.

She prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for the Senator-elect as he prepares to assume office and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to him by the people.
