The endorsement took place today at the Enugu South Local Government Secretariat during the inauguration of G-17 Local Government and Ward Executives, an event attended by political stakeholders, party faithful, community leaders, women groups, youths, and grassroots supporters from across the council area.

The endorsement register was formally presented to the council chairman by the Convener, Board of Trustees Chairman and Director-General of G-17 For Peter Mbah, Hon. He noted that the governor's people-oriented policies and projects have continued to positively impact communities across the state, including Enugu South Local Government Area.

The council chairman assured the gathering that Enugu South would remain steadfast in supporting Governor Mbah's administration and its development agenda, stressing that continuity is necessary to sustain the unprecedented pace of growth, infrastructure development, economic transformation, and good governance currently being witnessed across the state.

Hon. Ani also applauded the leadership of G-17 For Peter Mbah for its commitment to grassroots mobilisation and political education, describing the movement as one of the most formidable support structures working to deepen public participation and strengthen support for the governor's re-election project.

The event marks another significant milestone in G-17's ward-to-ward endorsement and grassroots mobilisation campaign across the seventeen local government areas of Enugu State as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
