...As FCSU Head commends Mr Diamond's proactiveness in Enugu CSDA.
The General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA),Hon Monday Diamond Ani,paid an official visit to the National Coordinator of the Nigeria Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme, Dr. Abdulkarim Ali Obaje, at the Federal CARES Support Unit (FCSU) headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening working collaboration and exploring opportunities to expand community-driven development initiatives and economic support programmes for rural communities in Enugu State.
NG-CARES is a Federal Government and World Bank-supported programme designed to assist the poor and vulnerable households,small scale businesses especially in the rural communities, towards recovering from endemic global economic challenges while building resilience for the future.
Speaking after the meeting,Hon Diamond expressed confidence on the National Coordinator's administrative prowess especially in the management of all the Country's Agencies successfully over the years.
He also, described the engagement asa very fruitful and productive one,reaffirming the commitment of the Enugu State CSDA to pursuing partnerships that will enhance grassroots development and improve the welfare of communities across the state in line with the vision of HE Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah's administration of inclusiveness and people-centered development.
The visit was particularly significant as it marked Hon Ani's first official engagement with the NG-CARES National Coordinator since his appointment as General Manager of the Enugu State CSDA in December 2026.
Beyond its symbolic importance, the meeting is expected to strengthen institutional collaboration and create new opportunities for sustainable community development in the state.
Dr Obaje commended the Enugu GM for his remarkable impact in the Agency since assumption of office.
