BREAKING!! Rangers GM, Amobi Ezeaku Resigns From Major Position

The General Manager of Rangers International Football Club, Amobi Ezeaku, has resigned from his position as Secretary of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Club Owners Association.

Ezeaku announced his decision in an official statement released on Monday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the growth of professional football in Nigeria.

In his resignation letter, he described his tenure as "a profound honour and privilege," noting that it allowed him to work alongside club owners and administrators committed to the development and sustainability of the Nigerian league.

He thanked the Association's Chairman, Dr. Okey Kpalukwu, members of the Executive Committee, and all club owners for the confidence reposed in him during his service. According to him, their collective efforts helped strengthen collaboration among clubs and advance important discussions aimed at improving the NPFL.

Despite stepping down, Ezeaku reaffirmed his commitment to Nigerian football, stating that he would continue to support initiatives that promote excellence, integrity, innovation, and sustainable growth within the country's football ecosystem.

The resignation has generated reactions among football stakeholders and fans, especially as Ezeaku has earned widespread commendation for his achievements at Rangers. The development also comes shortly after he indicated that he would make a decision within three weeks on whether to continue in his role as General Manager of the Enugu-based club.
