In a move that further underscores its growing strength, strategic grassroots presence, and unwavering commitment to the reelection project of Governor Peter Mbah ahead of the 2027 general elections, Tomorrow Is Here Movement has announced the postponement of the grand unveiling of its newly acquired ultra-modern campaign equipment and operational vehicles.
The much-anticipated unveiling ceremony, earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 19, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, will now take place on May 24 at the same venue and time.
The event is expected to feature the public presentation of newly acquired state-of-the-art musical equipment, campaign vehicles, loudspeakers, and other mobilisation facilities aimed at boosting the movement’s grassroots political engagements across Enugu State.
Speaking on the sudden shift in date, the President of the group, Hon. Tony Okonkwo, apologized to members of the public and supporters of the movement for the inconvenience caused by the adjustment, explaining that the postponement became necessary due to unavoidable circumstances.
He, however, emphasized that nothing has changed regarding the planned ceremony except the date, assuring members and supporters that preparations for the event remain fully on course.
The development comes on the heels of the movement’s successful tour across the 17 local government areas of Enugu State, where members actively engaged communities while evangelising and showcasing the remarkable achievements and transformational strides of Governor Mbah’s administration.
The statewide tour also formed part of the movement’s extensive preparations for the commencement of massive grassroots electioneering campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking further ahead of the unveiling ceremony, Hon. Okonkwo stated that the acquisition of the modern campaign facilities is strategically aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation, enhancing voter engagement, and deepening support for Governor Mbah’s reelection bid across the state.
According to him, Tomorrow Is Here Movement remains resolute, organised, and fully prepared to ensure the reelection of Governor Mbah, whom he described as a visionary and performing leader who has continued to deliver outstanding governance and transformative development across Enugu State.
Hon. Okonkwo further stated that the movement is leaving no stone unturned in consolidating support for the governor, stressing that the people of Enugu State have witnessed unprecedented progress under the current administration and are eager to sustain the momentum beyond 2027.
He therefore called on members of the movement, political stakeholders, friends, well-wishers, government functionaries, supporters, and the general public to attend the historic and epoch-making event in large numbers and on time.
The unveiling ceremony is expected to further energise supporters and signal the beginning of a more intensified grassroots mobilisation drive in support of Governor Mbah’s continuity and the advancement of his development agenda for Enugu State.
