There is growing anxiety and heartbreak in Opi community, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, following the sudden disappearance of a 16-year-old boy, Oluchi Ugwunwaeze, who has been missing for several days.

Oluchi was reportedly last seen on Thursday, May 7, in Minna, Niger State, under circumstances that have left his family devastated and desperate for answers. Since that day, all efforts to reach or locate him have proved abortive, deepening fears over his safety.

According to information made available by the family, the teenager is fair in complexion and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt bearing a large “S” logo, black trousers with white designs, and a pair of black slippers.

Sources close to the family revealed that they have not heard from him for over five days, a situation described as unusual and deeply troubling. The silence has thrown loved ones into distress, as they continue to hope and pray for his safe return.

“We are pleading with anyone who may have seen him or has any useful information to come forward. This is a child, and we are very worried,” a family member said in an emotional appeal.

The case has sparked concern among residents both in Minna and his hometown in Enugu State, with many calling for swift intervention and public cooperation to aid in the search.

Members of the public who may have any information regarding Oluchi’s whereabouts are urged to immediately contact the following numbers: 0707 030 8982 or 0810 864 8340, or report to the nearest police station.

As the days stretch on without news, the family’s pain intensifies, clinging to hope that with collective effort, Oluchi will be found and safely reunited with his loved ones.
