...Hails Transformational Leadership and Unprecedented Development in Enugu State
The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area and Deputy Chairman of ALGON, Enugu State, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, has today congratulated the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as a symbol of visionary leadership.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Government and the good people of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, the Chairman commended Governor Mbah for what he described as an extraordinary and unprecedented commitment towards repositioning Enugu State through bold reforms, strategic investments and people-oriented policies that have continued to redefine governance across the state.
Barr. Ukwueze noted that within just three years in office, Governor Mbah has successfully laid a solid foundation for a modern, prosperous and globally competitive Enugu State through massive investments in critical sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, transportation, technology and economic development.
According to the Chairman, “Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has undoubtedly changed the narrative of governance in Enugu State through uncommon courage and a clear vision for the future. His leadership has inspired hope and confidence among Ndi Enugu and has set new standards in public service delivery and developmental governance.”
The Deputy ALGON Chairman particularly applauded His Excellency’s revolutionary investments in smart education initiatives across the state, describing the Smart Green Schools project as one of the most ambitious educational reforms in Nigeria that will equip future generations with the knowledge and technological capacity required to compete globally.
“At a time when the future belongs to knowledge, innovation and technology, His Excellency has demonstrated exceptional foresight by prioritising quality education and human capital development. The Smart Green Schools initiative stands as a testament to his determination to secure a brighter future for our children and generations yet unborn,” he stated..
Barr. Ukwueze further extolled Governor Mbah’s infrastructural revolution and urban renewal agenda, noting that road construction projects, transportation reforms and ongoing development across various sectors have continued to transform the physical and economic landscape of Enugu State.
He also commended the Governor’s giant strides in healthcare delivery and security architecture, stressing that the establishment of modern healthcare facilities and investments in technology-driven security systems have significantly strengthened public confidence and improved the quality of life across communities.
Mayor Ukwueze further stated that the Governor’s developmental philosophy has continued to inspire leaders at the grassroots level, encouraging local governments across the state to embrace innovation, accountability and people-centred governance in line with the broader vision of the administration.
“His Excellency has not merely governed; he has inspired a movement of progress and excellence across Enugu State. His achievements within three years remain visible evidence of what visionary and disciplined leadership can accomplish,” he remarked.
Reaffirming the loyalty, support and admiration of the people of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area for the Governor, Barr. Ukwueze prayed for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance upon Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as he continues to pilot the affairs of the state towards greater heights.
