The Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu, has announced the indefinite suspension of his Chief of Staff, Prince Emeka Oroko, over alleged acts of party disloyalty.

The suspension, which takes immediate effect, was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the Chairman, Hon. Solomon Gwiyi.

According to the statement, the decision was taken to reinforce discipline and ensure that political appointees within the administration strictly adhere to the rules, policies, and guiding principles of both the party and government.

The statement further revealed that the activities and utterances of the suspended Chief of Staff had been under close observation over the past two months and were deemed capable of undermining the reputation, integrity, and responsibilities of the administration.

Part of the statement reads:

“The Chief of Staff is hereby suspended forthwith, and this decision remains an indefinite action by the Ezugwu administration.

“It is a clear message that we belong to a political party and must be guided by its rules and regulations.

“As Executive Chairman, I have zero tolerance for disloyalty, and that remains the principle upon which this administration stands.”
