In what is shaping up to be a landmark political and cultural gathering, the Awkunanaw Clan has announced plans to host a grand Mega Rally in honour of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, , on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
According to an official statement released by the clan, the highly anticipated event will take place at the Awkunanaw Civic Center, Akpasha, Akegbe Ugwu, located in Nkanu West Local Government Area. The rally is scheduled to commence at 10:00 am and is expected to attract dignitaries, community leaders, political stakeholders, and residents from across Enugu State.
The rally is being organized as a show of appreciation and solidarity for Governor Mbah’s administration, which the clan described as visionary, result-oriented, and transformative. The leadership of Awkunanaw noted that the governor’s policies and developmental strides have not only impacted Enugu State positively but have also positioned the state as a model for governance across Nigeria.
In a strongly worded commendation, the clan applauded the governor for redefining leadership standards, stating that his administration has become a reference point for other sub-national governments in the country.
