Mayor Ukwueze Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusive Growth, Declares 2026 " A Progressive & Productive Year" For Ndi Igbo-Eze South

 

 

The Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Council, Barr. Ugo-Ferdinand Ukwueze, has extended warm New Year goodwill to the people of the council area, commending their resilience and collective resolve which, he noted, drove purposeful governance and measurable progress throughout 2025. Reflecting on the past year, the council chairman highlighted gains recorded through prudent fiscal management, people-centred policies and strategic investments in human capital, youth empowerment, education, innovation and community development, while assuring residents that his administration remains firmly committed to consolidating these achievements and advancing inclusive, sustainable development in the year ahead.

"As we step into a new year, I extend my warmest goodwill and heartfelt appreciation to the resilient and progressive people of lgbo-Eze South Local Government Area. The year 2025 was one of purp0seful engagement, shared responsibility and measurable progress, driven by our collective resolve to build a local government that works efficiently for all.

 Reflecting on our journey so far, I am proud of the foundations we have laid across critical sectors of governance. Through prudent fiscal management, targeted interventions and people-centred policies, we have continued to strengthen service delivery, deepen institutional capacity and expand opportunities for inclusive development. Our investments in human capital, youth empowerment, education, innovation and community development underscore our commitment to sustainable growth and social equity.

 These achievements were not accidental. They were the outcome of strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration and the committed support of our people. Together, we demonstrated that with clarity of vision and discipline of execution, meaningful change is achievable even in the face of economic and structural constraints.

 As we look ahead, the task before us demands even greater resolve. The new year presents both opportunities and responsibilities: to consolidate the gains already made, to address emerging challenges with solutions, and to pursue our development goals with renewed energy and focus.

 Our administration remains firmly aligned with the governance philosophy and reform agenda of His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. We continue to translate his results-oriented and development-focused vision into practical grassroots interventions that deliver measurable impact and strengthen public service delivery in lgbo-Eze South.

 Iurge every resident to remain steadfast, optimistic and actively engaged in the development process. Progress is a shared responsibility, and our collective determination will be the defining force that shapes our future.
