The Coverner and Board Trustees Chairman of foremost Grassroots Mobilisation Political Movement, the G-17 Support Group for Peter Mbah, Hon. Dr Chinedu Mbah, has congratulated Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze, Rt. Hon. USA Igwesi, and other recently appointed officials by the Enugu State Government, describing their appointments as well-deserved recognitions of dedication, competence, and unwavering political commitment.
In a statement released in Enugu, Chief Mbah praised the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for what he described as a deliberate and principled approach to leadership, one that acknowledges loyalty, rewards hard work, and values those who stood firm during critical moments of political transition.
According to the G-17 BoT Chairman, Governor Mbah has once again demonstrated that political support and consistency are not taken for granted under his administration. He noted that the appointees were among those who believed in the Governor’s vision during the electioneering period and continued to lend their support long after victory was secured, standing firmly behind his policies and reform-driven agenda.
Chief Mbah stated that by appointing individuals who contributed meaningfully to the success of his emergence and who have remained steadfast in advancing his developmental programmes, Governor Mbah has sent a clear message that loyalty, sacrifice, and service are rewarded in Enugu State.
He described Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze as a disciplined legal mind with a strong sense of public responsibility, whose appointment reflects the Governor’s commitment to professionalism and institutional effectiveness. He equally lauded Rt. Hon. USA Igwesi as an experienced grassroots politician with deep understanding of governance and people-oriented leadership, noting that his inclusion in government would add strategic value to the administration.
The G-17 leader emphasized that these appointments are not merely political gestures, but calculated decisions aimed at strengthening governance through the inclusion of tested and trusted individuals who share the Governor’s vision for a new Enugu, one anchored on transparency, innovation, economic growth, and people-centred development.
Chief Chinedu Mbah further commended Governor Mbah for fostering a culture of inclusiveness and fairness, where those who laboured during the campaign period and continued to defend the administration’s reform initiatives are given opportunities to contribute at higher levels of governance. According to him, this approach has continued to boost morale among party faithful, grassroots mobilisers, and supporters across the state.
He also praised the Governor for building a political structure that prioritizes performance and commitment over noise and opportunism, stressing that such leadership style strengthens democratic values and deepens trust between the government and the governed.
Reaffirming the support of the G-17 Political Movement, Chief Mbah assured that the group remains resolute in its mission to mobilise grassroots support for Governor Mbah’s transformational agenda. He urged the newly appointed officials to see their appointments as a call to higher service and to justify the confidence reposed in them through diligence, integrity, and measurable impact.
Chief Mbah concluded by congratulating all the appointees once again and expressing confidence that under the leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Enugu State will continue to witness purposeful governance, inclusive leadership, and sustainable development.
