The Executive Chairman of Uzo Uwani Local Government Area, Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu, has appointed Hon. Solomon Gwiyi, as Special Adviser on Communications & Strategy.
The appointment which was with immediate effect, was announced by the chairman in his office at the council Secretariat in Umulokpa, on Tuesday, 15th of April, 2025.
Until his appointment, Hon. Gwiyi has over 15 years of experience in journalism, public relations, and media management, and will oversee strategic communications of Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu's administration, in order to enhance public awareness of government activities.
A multi-talented personality, Gwiyi Solomon was former political Editor at The News Chronicle, No.3 Akanu Ibiam Street, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
