Nigerian Senate Successfully Screens South East Development Commission (SEDC) Board

 

The Nigerian Senate committee under the leadership of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, today successfully concluded the screening of the newly appointed Managing Director and board members of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).

The screening process, held at the National Assembly, was conducted in a smooth, transparent, and highly professional manner. Senator Kalu, who chaired the committee, commended the nominees for their exceptional wealth of experience, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the mission of driving sustainable development in the South East region.

The nominees, having successfully passed the screening, now await formal confirmation by the Senate plenary before they can officially assume their respective roles in spearheading development initiatives across the South East region.

Among the nominees is Hon. Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah, whose appointment has garnered significant attention. Congratulations are in order for him and the other appointees as they prepare to take on their new roles at the South East Development Commission.
