Powell Homes and Shelters Limited has kicked off the construction of 300 housing units at its Hosanna Estate in Enugu.
The flag-off event, held over the weekend, was commended by stakeholders in the real estate industry as a welcome development for the state.
Addressing newsmen at the flag-off arena in Ibagwa-Nike, Enugu, the Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Limited, Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi, said the estate is designed to be one of the best modern estates in the state, owing to its exceptional design.
He stated that the 300 housing units will include 100 duplexes, 100 terrace duplexes, and 100 bungalows, each thoughtfully crafted to cater to the diverse needs of prospective homeowners.
According to Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi, these units in Hosanna Estate, will feature spacious interiors, energy-efficient systems, and modern aesthetics to provide a blend of comfort and functionality.
He also highlighted that Hosanna estate would offer essential amenities, such as a dedicated power supply, green spaces, recreational areas, and advanced security measures to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable living experience for all residents.
"Our goal is to set a new standard in residential living in Enugu, creating a community that truly meets the needs of modern families and individuals," he said.
Architect Chibuikem further stated that the estate, once completed, would be available for outright purchase or with a six-month payment plan.
"When we complete Hosanna estate by 2025, we expect to offer it for outright sale, although buyers will also have the option of a six-month payment plan. This is set to be one of the finest estates in the state, and we are fully committed to quality and affordability," he added.
