One-Year Memorial Remembrance of Late Chief Mrs. Vivian Oluchukwu Nnajiofor

The Nnajiofor family of Mbulu Owo Community has released the One year memorial and remembrance outing  for  Late Chief Mrs. Vivian Oluchukwu Nnajiofor (née Onwubiko), fondly known as "Osodieme,".  the beloved wife of their illustrious son and  the Special Adviser to the Enugu State Governor on Legislative Matters, Rt. Hon. Chief Paul Nnajiofor (Ononenyi), Recall that Mrs Vivian Nnajiofor passed away  and was buried this season last year  after a long battle with brain cancer. The remembrance event will be held at the Nnajiofor family compound in Mbulu Owo Autonomous Community, Nkanu East Local Government Area, Enugu State, on Sunday, 20th October 2024.


The solemn event will begin with a Christian Memorial Church Service, during which prayers of rededication will be offered for Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, his children, relatives, in-laws, and friends. This spiritual exercise is intended to fortify the family in faith and offer them comfort, as they remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Vivian, who was known for her compassion and deep sense of community.


A key feature of the memorial will be the presentation of gift items to widows and selected less privileged individuals from the Mbulu Owo community. This act of charity reflects Mrs. Vivian’s legacy as a woman of good heart, who was always generous and caring towards the vulnerable.


One of the major highlights of the event will be the official inauguration of the Vivian's Memorial Foundation for Brain Cancer Disease Patients. This foundation, created in honour of the late Chief Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor, will serve as a support system for individuals battling brain cancer. Her family has described this initiative as a lasting tribute to her life, turning their personal grief into a source of hope for others suffering from the same condition. The foundation is expected to provide financial, emotional, and medical assistance to patients, while also raising awareness of the disease.


The remembrance outing is expected to draw friends, associates, and people of goodwill who will gather to offer their support to Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor and his family. Their presence and prayers will serve as a symbol of solidarity and comfort during this difficult time.


As the family commemorates one year since her passing, they pray that her soul continues to find peace and eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.
