ENDORSES AND DRAWS SUPPORT FOR UZO-UWANI PDP CHAIRMANSHIP FLAGBEARER, HON. BARR. CHIJIOKE EZUGWU.
Nkpologu community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area has appreciated the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for the nomination and endorsement of their son Hon. Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as the PDP Chairmanship flagbearer for Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in the forthcoming local government elections in Enugu State.
Arising from the town Union meeting, the President General of Nkpologu Town Union, Chief Ogochukwu Alumona, speaking on behalf of the community and many other Party faithfuls, said.
The Town Union extended their appreciation for the nomination of Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as the Chairmanship candidate for Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area for the forthcoming local government elections in Enugu State.
Chief Alumona noted that the meeting was the normal meeting of Nkpologu Town Union in every month of August, according to him "our meeting today is the usual meeting of the month of August every year.
"But coincidentally, today's own meeting is extra ordinary because we were able to achieve many things for our community, and the above all, the endorsement of our son, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as the PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area for the forthcoming local government elections in Enugu State. "I want to use this opportunity to thank His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for finding our son worthy for nomination as the flagbearer of PDP for Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area,
"According to the President General, I am using this opportunity to appeal for everybody in Nkpologu Town to replicate this gesture of His Excellency the Governor by voting our son in the forthcoming local government elections.
He also advised the community to come out emass on the election day and show their acceptance by voting Hon. Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu in and pray for the Almighty God to bless, protect, and guide those in authority as read in the holy Bible, (Roman 13: 4), he further promised His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi for their continued support for his administration.
Also speaking, the Director General of Enugu North Youth General Assembly, Igbo-Nsukka, Sir Simon Martins Okechukwu told the gathering that the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is planning big for the good people of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, where their son will soon be elected as the Executive of the Council, he also advised Nkpologu indigenes and residents to mobilize support to carry the message across the Villages in Nkpologu for their support for the PDP Chairmanship Candidate.
