Aka Eze Aka Honoured by NUJ Information Chapter


For his remarkable contributions to the Ministry of Information and Communication, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Information Chapel has bestowed a prestigious honour on Aka Eze Aka, the immediate past Commissioner for Information and Communication. This significant event took place during the unveiling of his manifesto as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer for the Udenu Local Government Chairmanship position.

During the award ceremony, the Chairman of the NUJ Information Chapel, Comrade Hyginus Odoh, praised Aka Eze Aka's outstanding leadership during his tenure. He noted that the former Commissioner had implemented bold reforms that transformed the ministry and set new standards for public communication in Enugu State. "Aka Eze Aka's tenure was marked by bold innovations, strategic reforms, and a commitment to excellence that raised the bar for public communication in the state. His leadership and vision not only enhanced the ministry’s operations but also earned him recognition as a trailblazer in the field," Comrade Odoh said.

Under Aka Eze Aka's stewardship, the Ministry of Information and Communication underwent significant modernization, with improvements in digital communication platforms, media relations, and strategic information dissemination. These efforts were widely acknowledged as instrumental in boosting transparency and accessibility in the state's communication efforts.

Comrade Odoh further commended Aka Eze Aka for leaving an indelible mark on the ministry, noting that his achievements continue to serve as a benchmark for future leaders. "His achievements have left a lasting impact on the ministry and the state, setting a new standard for public communication through his dedication to excellence and innovative approach," Odoh added.

In his acceptance speech, Aka Eze Aka expressed profound gratitude to the NUJ Information Chapel for the honour and pledged to continue serving the people of Udenu Local Government with the same passion and dedication. He promised to extend even better gestures to the good people of the area if elected as Chairman, emphasizing his commitment to furthering the development of the local government.
