Media Figure Yan Baba, Arrested Over Anambra Real Estate Developer's Report on Chisom Martin

 


Mr. Chijioke Igwendu, popularly known as Yan Baba, was apprehended by the Nigerian Police Force at Zone 13 in Ukpo, Anambra State. This arrest follows a petition submitted to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 13 on June 11th, 2024, by concerned parties.


Mr. Igwendu, the founder of Yan Kontent Factory and the promoter of the online podcast Gbam, was taken into custody this afternoon. He was subsequently interrogated by the police. During the questioning, the authorities demanded that he produce his accomplice, Ms. Chinwe Splendor, without delay. This step is deemed crucial for further interrogation and potential prosecution.
