BREAKING: JONAPWD Launches Free Health Insurance For Pregnant Women With Disabilities in Collaboration with Ogun State Health Insurance Agency

To ensure that pregnant women with disabilities have access to quality healthcare services, the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) has launched a free health insurance scheme in partnership with the Ogun State Health Insurance Agency.

JONAPWD, an umbrella organization established in Nigeria to promote the rights and development of Nigerians with disabilities, announced the initiative during the weekend. The newly launched health insurance scheme is aimed at providing pregnant women with disabilities in Ogun State with access to free healthcare services throughout their pregnancy period. This initiative is part of JONAPWD's commitment to ensuring that persons with disabilities have equal access to quality healthcare services without financial constraints.

According to FountainCare Reporters, the initiative would help address the healthcare challenges faced by pregnant women with disabilities in the state.
