SUCCOUR: Three Individuals Found Solace in the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme's Latest Intervention


In their continuous display of unwavering compassion and medical expertise, the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme has once again come to the aid of three individuals in need, marking their 31st series of surgical interventions for the year 2024. Two children suffering from Hydrocoele of the cord and a 38-year-old man battling a complicated case of strangulated inguinoscrotal hernia found solace in the programme's latest surgical intervention, conducted on Sunday, 21st of April, at Chief Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital in Nsukka.

Once again proving the haters of the good work of the former Governor wrong, and in reaffirmation of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's commitment to the welfare of the people of Enugu State, the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme has provided these life-saving surgeries and restored hope to those afflicted with debilitating medical conditions. Among the beneficiaries of the programme's latest intervention were Nwabueze Ugwu from Iheakpu-Awka, Obetta Johnpaul from Igogoro E/Ezike, and Ugwu Chikamso from Amozalla Nsukka.

The beneficiaries expressed their deep and sincere gratitude for their restoration, appreciating the founder, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and the entire medical team for their dedication to the humanitarian cause.

In response, the Director-General of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, Dr. George Ajogwu, thanked the former Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for his continued funding of the programme. Dr. Ajogwu emphasized the founder's love for the people of Enugu State and extended his gratitude for the support of the current Governor, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah, and His Deputy, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, for their exemplary governance, which has positively impacted all sectors of Enugu State.
