In their continuous pursuit to curbing health complications among the elderly populace in Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Gburugburu Free Medical Outreach, under the esteemed Humanitarian Healthcare Initiative, conducted their 5th transformative medical intervention at Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital Nsukka, in Nsukka Local Government Area Today, the 30th of March 2024 to conclude their March Series of Free Medical Interventions.
Today's Outreach served as an Easter Package for the elderly population in Enugu State and also as way to put smile on their faces in the Easter Festive Period, which is one of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's age long philosophy which he has demonstrated for several years by visiting hospitals and the needies on special days such as Easter, Christmas and his Birthday Anniversaries even while he served a the Executive Governor of Enugu State.
Led by the Director-General of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, a dedicated cadre of medical professionals provided comprehensive medical investigations and care for the elderly population. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between medical necessity and accessibility, recognizing health as the foundation of prosperity.
The atmosphere at Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital was filled with anticipation and gratitude as beneficiaries eagerly awaited the dispensation of tailored pharmaceutical treasures for managing prevalent health ailments like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and prostate enlargement. In an exclusive interview with FountainCare Reporters, the Director-General of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme who also doubles as the medical team lead of the Medical Outreach Wing emphasized Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's commitment to safeguarding life and advancing welfare. "this initiative, in support of visionary leadership from His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah, and his Deputy, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, underscores the harmony between transformative health initiatives and Enugu State's leadership" he said.

Among other locations it has covered, the initiative has recently reached the Popular Mechanic Village Nsukka, Udenu Local Government Area, specifically the vibrant community of Orba and other strategic locations in Igbo-Eze South, etc, exemplifying the administration's commitment to equitable healthcare access.
