Jubilation Erupts As Igbo-Etiti Mayor Sparks Joy Among Workers with Generous Welfare Package

The management and staff of Igbo-Etiti local government has in a while enjoyed the boom of democracy dividends.

The executive chairman of Igbo-Etiti local government, Hon Barr Ikenna Anthony Nwodo who in his humanitarian heart and relief tends, shared bags of rice to all the staff of the council. It was such a thunderous one in such a manner that it was described as the first of its kind in the history of governance in Igbo-Etiti local government council. In this gesture, the welfare package was for new year goodies which the council boss used to appreciate the staff and ignite their disruptive duty discharge to conform with the aspects of the state's government productive trend.

In a joyous communique, the Head of Personnel Management (HPM) of the council- Mrs Ogbu Jennifer who expressed satisfactory end to this august humane treat from the mayor. She revealed that the chairman has an inclining broad heart for good and welfare of the council's staff. She also stressed on such an unimaginable magnanimous gift as a handiwork of God, that the staff numbering over seven hundred (700) workers received a bag of rice each.

In the same vein, heads of departments and units of the staff expressed heartwarming regards and willful thanks to the mayor for the one in town gift as more of the heights will reach him and his households in many folds. Among the notable staff who witnessed the peaceful distribution of the rice are Comr. Nwelem Charles- former cashier and NULGE chairman of the council, Comr. Ojili Patricia- the current NULGE chairman of the council and many others to mention.

Against all odds, the management and staff organized an appreciation outing to the executive chairman of the council where the outpour of joy and gratitude were envisaged. It was such a unique regard and fulfillment to the justice done. Prayers of upliftment were made on council boss as the food Lord who opened his heart to do such a humane treat will continue to bless him beyond human thought.

The council boss- Hon Nwodo spoke in a glad and pacified approach and prayed more for God to bless and protect each and everyone of them(staff) both now and then. He used the opportunity to rekindle the light of dedication and diligence in them as part of the onus in the derived development of the state and for the good of the council in particular.

At the end, vote of confidence was passed on the legacies and good governance witnessed within the current dispensation as continuity will strengthen the dividends of the democracy beyond breaches. The workers expressed concern and unalloyed support towards the authority in power.
