HUMANITY-2024-04: Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme Rescues 6-Year-Old Enugu Boy Brought From Ghana


In the recent surgical interventions that saved the lives of 6 Enugu Residents of which some of them are residing in Ghana, Lagos and other parts of Nigeria, but seeked for the help of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, owned and funded by the former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi

These most recent beneficiaries in the fourth series of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme include Ebubechukwu Peace Eke with the contact number "08061657224" from Orba in Udenu Local Government  who had multiple bilateral breast lumps underwent Lumpectomy which was done to restore her.

Another beneficiary is Samuel Pius, as 6 Year old boy from Obukpa whose parents are residing in Ghana had Right Hydrocoele of the cord and surgical interventions wa taken to get it corrected, Samuel's Parents could be reached through the contact details; 233506263355 and 08061299255.

Ugwu Sampson Ugochukwu with the contact number, 08135627054, who hails from Amalla Orba in Udenu Local Government Area had a case of inguinoscrotal hernia with associated Hydrocoele and was corrected too by Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme.

Another Enugu citizen also saved was Onwura Stephenia NK, 08162324686, from Eha-Alumona in Nsukka Local Government Council who had a case of Giant Lipoma on the right hip and was corrected through surgical procedures by the medical team of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme 

The family of Emmanuel Ezugwu with the phone number, 08038244738 who hails from Edem in Nsukka Local Government Council who is based in Lagos had Giant Lipoma on the forehead and was corrected.

Another beneficiary who travelled all the way from Niger state in the Northern Part of NUgwu Chimobi but hails from Ugbene-Ajima in Enugu State came to Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme wirh abnormal growth on the chest and surgical operations was conducted on him to correct it.

While responding to the FountainCare News Reporters in Enugu, the Director-General of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme expressed his gratitude and excitement to the founder of the life-saving initiative, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who even after leaving office as the governor of Enugu State, continue to fund the healthcare programme. 

Dr. Ajogwu highlighted the success of the recent surgical interventions that saved the lives of six Enugu citizens in line with Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's commitment to the well-being of Enugu citizens in support of the good governance of The Current Governor of Enugu State and his Deputy, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah and His Excellency, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, whom upon resumption of office took up transformative journey which has already had significant impact in the lives of citizens.


Dr. Ajogwu expressed gratitude for the good work of the current administration, emphasizing that it is  collective duty of every citizen to be committed to enhancing the health and well-being of others which His Excellenc, Rt HonIfeanyi Ugwuanyi, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah and His Excellency Barr Ifeanyi Ossai are known for.


The recent successes and massive impact of the Free Surgery Programme mark a promising beginning for healthcare in 2024, instilling optimism for positive transformations in the realm of public health throughout the year, he said.
