IMT Management Rejoices Over Gov. Peter Mbah's Victorious Outcome at the Supreme Court Today.

 

The entire management team of The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu is abuzz with jubilation as they join in celebrating the resounding victory of His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, at the Supreme Court today, Friday, 22nd ofDecember, 2023.

In a statement released by the Rector of the Institute, Prof. Augustine Uchechukwu Nweze PhD, IMT expressed profound joy and heartfelt congratulations to Governor Peter Mbah on his triumph at the Supreme Court. Prof. Nweze exclaimed, "It is the Almighty God at Work."

In today's verdict, the highest court rejected appeal to annul Mbah's election. Both the tribunal and the Appeal Court affirmed INEC's declaration of Mbah as the victor in the March 18th Governorship election.

Recall that on November 10th, the Court of Appeal in Lagos affirmed Peter Mbah's position as the governor of Enugu State. The unanimous decision of the three-member court dismissed all three concerns raised by the opposing party.

Prof Nweze summed up the prestigious Institute's elation, stating, "We cannot hide our joy; it has ended in praise. It is time for principal, the Executive Governor of Enugu State,  His Excellency, Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to concentrate with the good work he has started in Enugu State" This resounding victory at the Supreme Court marks a significant milestone for Governor Peter Mbah and the people of Enugu State, ensuring the continuity of his leadership and commitment to the welfare of Ndi Enugu.
