Happie Boys Deported Back To Nigeria

The duo known as the Happie Boys, Mathew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, have been deported back to Nigeria after losing their residence permit in Cyprus. The Happie Boys, who had been making headlines for their alleged involvement in fraudulent activities, were reportedly returned to Nigeria on Monday night.

The pair had been in the custody of the Cypriot police department for over four weeks, following their arrest for their alleged role in a fraud case. Their journey to Cyprus began when they were sent abroad by the general overseer of the Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzo. The clergyman had extended a helping hand to them after they were dismissed from their workplace for dancing on duty.

However, a falling out occurred between the Happie Boys and their benefactor when they accused Apostle Chibuzo of using their destiny, expressing feelings of abandonment in Cyprus. They went on to request that he cease providing for them.

Apostle Chibuzo clarified that he had advised the boys to choose a university in Nigeria or a neighboring African country to continue their education, as he could no longer afford the scholarship for studying abroad due to the increasing foreign exchange rates. The Happie Boys, however, defied this suggestion and decided to fend for themselves, adamantly refusing to return to their home country.

Subsequently, reports emerged of the duo's arrest by security agents, leading to their detention in Cyprus. On Monday night, Kelechi and Amakor finally arrived in Nigeria at the Nnamdi Azikwe airport, Abuja, and are currently staying at a hotel in Utako. The circumstances surrounding their deportation and the allegations against them have stirred considerable public interest and discussion.
