The Nigerian police force has officially concluded the autopsy procedure on the body of renowned singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as MohBad. This update was confirmed by the Nigeria Police Force via their official X platform (formerly known as Twitter).
"The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available," the post reads.
MohBad, a 27-year-old music sensation, tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, amid allegations of medical treatment for an infection. His untimely demise has generated significant controversy and raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his death.
In response to mounting concerns, the police initiated an official investigation into the matter, following a directive from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun. A dedicated ten-man team, including a pathologist, was assembled to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding MohBad's passing.
It is worth noting that prior to his death, MohBad had made headlines when he accused his former manager, singer Naira Marley, of assault. He alleged that Marley had ordered individuals to physically assault him after he had announced his intention to hire a different manager.
In a shocking twist to the story, reports emerged that MohBad had filed a police report in June 2023, alleging that Samson Erinfolami Balogun, a music promoter known as "Sam Larry" and a known associate of Naira Marley, had physically assaulted him and caused damage to his property.
According to the police report, MohBad detailed an incident where Sam Larry had disrupted a video shoot, leading a group of 15 men who were armed with firearms and cutlasses.
