#PeterGoWork: Enugu SME Agency Partners with WDC and Mastercard Foundation to Empower Young businesswomen in every LGA in Enugu State

In a move aimed at fostering socio-economic development in local communities, the Enugu SME Agency has joined forces with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) and the Mastercard Foundation to launch a groundbreaking Entrepreneurial Training Program tailored specifically for young businesswomen in the Creativity and Agricultural sectors.


Recognizing the pivotal role women play in driving progress within societies, this collaborative effort seeks to empower and equip these women with the tools and knowledge necessary to catalyze sustainable economic growth. The initiative aligns perfectly with the vision of Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, who is committed to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of the youth.


The comprehensive training program will cover a wide array of essential topics, including:


Business Growth Strategies:

Participants will gain insights into strategies that can help their businesses expand and thrive in a competitive marketplace.


Financial Planning & Cashflow Management:

 Financial stability is crucial for any business, and this training will provide valuable insights into managing finances effectively.


Crafting Unique Brand Stories:

In a world filled with noise, understanding how to create a compelling brand story and effectively reach the target audience is essential.

This opportunity is initially available to 588 beneficiaries in each of the 17 LGAs. Aspiring entrepreneurs and young businesswomen in these areas are urged to seize this chance to enhance their skills and contribute to the growth of their communities.
