Call him a desperado? Call him a powermonger, blackmailer, traitor, rabble rouser, undertaker, propagandist, opportunist, and deceiver. You are right. If there are other names more shameful than the above-mentioned, that is what he is.
Meanwhile, the above names aptly and perfectly capture the Ebonyi State born Finland-based vagabond and fugitive, Simon Ekpa, who conferred fake and non-existent Prime Minister of Biafra Republic on himself and has continued to instigate, mastermind the killings of innocent people and destruction of Southeast economy in the name of his illegal, misleading and deceitful sit-at-home.
Ekpa has represented everything negative and destructive. Recent sordid revelations about his personality and his selfish and ulterior motive that had made him remain adamant on illegal sit-at-home say a lot about him.
This is a young man, who never believed in Biafra struggle and the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, before his arrest and incarceration, but wants people to believe that he is championing and sustaining illegal sit-at-home to secure his unconditional release.
Who will believe Ekpa again, having seen that he only cashed on Kanu’s incarceration to balkanise and hijack the Biafra liberation struggle for selfish benefits, fighting desperately to sustain it with his illegal sit-at-home that has faced the most virile opposition, rejection and resistance from all and sundry in Nigeria and beyond.
From Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, who has shown a handwritten letter from Kanu, opposing and warning Ekpa to stop illegal sit-at-home This letter has been authenticated and affirmed by Kanu’s family members and close associates as his.
The Whatapps chats between Ejimakor and Ekpa, where the latter was desperately seeking to speak with Enugu State Governor, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on the phone is another incident for one to ponder on.
Ekpa's social media attack on Kanu, dismissing and rubbishing his letter, describing him as a madman and insisting that even if he is released today, he (Ekpa ) will not stop illegal sit-at-home order exposed Ekpa's real motive over sit-at-home and who he is.
With these shocking revelations and malady from Ekpa, anyone taking him and his illegal sit-at-home serious again is living in delusion and fantasy and suffering from amnesia as well.
Ekpa has been exposed. He has no place to hide and no lies to tell. What he is doing ahead of his proposed two weeks illegal sit-at-home that has been rejected and condemned is the last kick of a dying horse. He is holding unto the last straw that can not save him.
His shenanigans and wiles have been exposed and the die is cast. Kudos and thanks to Enugu State Governor, Barr. Peter Mbah for igniting and sustaining the latest heat and fire that is consuming and finishing Ekpa over his illegal sit-at-home order.
The momentum and support is unprecedented, and the result is obvious. It is the end of the road for Ekpa and his sit-at-home apologists and sympathisers in the Southeast region.
Governor Mbah is tenacious and prepared. Security agents are ready and well equipped. Armoured vehicles have been rolled out in numbers positioned at strategic locations across the state. Security intelligence is at work. The atmosphere is calm. The people and residents of Enugu are expected to go about their businesses without fear.
