Breaking! Enugu Youths Jubilate as Kings Care Foundation Set to Kickoff "Echeribe Football Tournament"

Jubilation trails Enugu youths community as Dr. Afam Atu (Echeribe), the founder of the Kings Care Foundation, has announced the highly anticipated Echeribe Enugu East Senatorial Zone Football Tournament. Scheduled to commence on August 27th and conclude on September 24th, 2023, the tournament aims to showcase the abundance of untapped football talent within Enugu State while providing opportunities for young players to excel on an international level.

The primary objective of the Echeribe Football Tournament is to identify exceptional players who will be given the chance to participate in football trials in Europe. Dr. Atu firmly believes in the immense talent present within Enugu State and aims to elevate the skills of selected players through exposure to international football standards, opening doors to professional opportunities in Europe and beyond.

"This tournament serves as a platform to promote individual talent and enhance the reputation of Enugu State's football scene," stated the organizers in a press release. "It showcases the commitment of the Kings Care Foundation to empowering youth and positioning our region as a fertile ground for future football stars."

To motivate participants and recognize their achievements, attractive prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams. The winning team will receive a prize of 500,000 naira, while the second and third-place teams will be awarded 300,000 naira and 200,000 naira, respectively.

The tournament will follow a group stage and knockout rounds format, featuring six teams representing local governments within Enugu East Senatorial Zone. The matches will take place at the renowned Umueze Township Mini Stadium, providing an excellent venue for this exciting tournament.

To ensure fairness and transparency, the Kings Care Foundation has established strict eligibility criteria for team registration. Participating teams must be from the Enugu East Senatorial Zone in Enugu State and consist of players between the ages of 14 and 27 years. Registration has been be open from since June, to July 29th, 2023, with a grace period of two weeks available if needed.
