At the Church service, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu, His Lordship, Most. Rev. CVC Onaga admonished politicians that now that the election is over, they must show their faith in Christ by not abandoning the electorates. The Thanksgiving service coincided with the Palm Sunday which ushers in the holy week.
At the reception which followed immediately after mass at PMSG's secretariat, the Governor-Elect expressed his immense gratitude to God and to Ndi Enugu for his emergence as the Governor.
Speaking through his representation, Deacon Okey Ogbodo, Dr. Mbah noted that the election is over and the work of governance starts soon, that his administration will hit the ground running as it ushers in our tomorrow.
The leadership of PMSG expressed thanks to Enugu State PDP family and Ndi Enugu for identifying with the movement and supporting Dr. Mbah.
The DG of the support group, Mr. Emeka Ogbu-Nwobodo, excitedly stated that God who made the electoral victory possible will complete what He has started as He has given Ndi Enugu good reason to smile. The God who knows tomorrow has brought our tomorrow here.
