As the 2023 general elections draw nearer, it is very important that every citizen of Nigeria within the voting age participate in the democratic process. Universal suffrage which entails the right of all adults to vote in political elections has given us the opportunity to express our voting rights in line with the principle of representation.
In a media chat with FountainCare News, a prominent support group for Barr. Peter Mbah, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate of Enugu State, The Rock Ambassadors, expressed optimism that Enugu State will take a new turn with Barr Peter Mbah’s ascendance as the state’s next governor.
According to the Director General of Rock Ambassadors Support Group For Barr. Peter Mbah, Igwe Adinde Chibueze, voting gives citizens a chance to choose their government leaders,
gives them an opportunity to voice their opinions on past performance of officials, and expresses their opinion on public issues. "Voting is not just our right, it's also our civic duty.”
