In all the three wards, the people renewed their hope and love for PDP and expressed their trust and confidence on the caliber of their candidate for the coming election, from Barr Peter Mbah, the governorship candidate down to the state house of assembly candidates. That they're all people with a second address, convincing resume and unparalleled track record of empowerment and human capital development, hence they will all vote PDP on the 25th February and 11th March respectively.
In Udi/Agbudu Ward, it was an atmosphere of joy, testimonial statements and litany of what PDP has done for the community from 1999 till date; from numerous big political appointments, provision of security to infrastructural development across the length and breadth of their ward. They assured PDP of a resounding victory in all the polling units in Udi/Agbudu. In return, the people of Udi/Agbudu pleaded with PDP to look into Nvene water and reticulate the water across board in their community in order to mitigate their water challenges especially during the dry season.
In response, the PDP candidates thanked the people for maintaining faith with PDP, judging by the numerous gains they've gained from the party, promising them that with their resolve to vote PDP back in the coming election both at the state and the national level, more of the dividends will be their portion. Assuring them that whatever will be the share of ndi Udi/Agbudu will come to them without any hiccups.
Among their top stakeholders who spoke at the event include the member national working committee of PDP representing Enugu state and the national deputy treasurer of PDP, Hon. Barr Chubby Nnamdi Eneh, the former PG and the SSA to the governor, Chief Hon. Emma Eneoli. Hon. Obiora Onyia (Mgbadike), Dr. Mrs Dame Ngozi Agu. Hon. Brendan Onyeama, Barr Alex Okwy Onaga, Hon. Nnamdi Onyia (Sharp), Hon. Ikenna Onaga, PDP chairman Udi/Agbudu ward, Hon. Vitus Chime, their Councilor among other critical stakeholders. Udi/Agbudu is PDP.
In Umuabi Ward, it was the same promise of support to the party, testimonial statements of what PDP government has done for them in the time past and the assurance of delivering PDP in the forth coming general election in Umuabi. The good people of Umuabi Ezike, the people known for their political sagacity and perfect political blending maintained that with their close relationship with the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state, Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the PDP senatorial candidate, Engr Osita Ngwu (RG), the PDP house of rep candidate Udi/Ezeagu, Dr. Festus Uzor (Ebube Omasi) and their own son, Hon. Okechukwu Aneke (Erienyeibe) as the Udi South state constituency candidate, they are no doubt in a threshold of history, in a good and perfect political placement, hence they will grab the opportunity with their two hands by giving PDP 100% of their vote and ensure that PDP record a landslide victory in Umuabi Ward.
Through their stakeholders, they made a demand from the incoming PDP government in the state and the national assembly members to connect one of their major road to Achi in Oji river LG for its economic viability and to address the gully erosion menace in part of their community,
In their response, the PDP candidates unanimously thanked the people for their unflinching support to PDP so far and their assurance to vote PDP in the coming election, assuring them that they will gain more from the party more than any other party coming to them with a Greek gift.
Among their critical stakeholders who spoke at the event include one of their illustrious sons and a philanthropist, Barr. Victor Udeh, Hon. Emeka Ezenwugo, Hon. Emeka Aneke. (Iheaneboagu). Hon. Emeka Onyia (Ukwa), Hon. Obiora Onyia (Tega), Chief Mrs Eneasato, Hon. Mrs Chinelo Ogbata, Hon. Mrs Ojide, the PDP chairman Umuabi ward, Hon. Davison Eze among other important stakeholders. Indeed, it ended in praise.
Coming to Abia Ward which was the last point of call, the Abia people categorically stated that since 1999, no other political party has ever won in any polling unit in Abia community, promising that the record will be maintained in the coming election. Informing the campaign team that both Barr Peter Mbah, RG, Ebube Omasi and Erienyeibe has been adopted by Abia people before now as their sole candidates in the respective positions they're running for, hence there's no need for much campaign in their ward because they are PDP and have gained a lot in all shades from the PDP government since 1999.
Also, through their major stakeholders like Lt. Hon. Bismarck Chuka Eneh, the Abia PDP ward chairman, Hon. Anayo Nebo (Anitraco), Hon. Godwin Agbasi, Hon. Thankgod Onyia, Hon. Nonso Nebo* and *Hon. Abuchi Eneh Ogbuagu, called for the completion of one of their major roads which leads to their farm and to Orie-agu market, a road started by Senator Ike Ekweremadu but yet to be completed. Also, they called on them to address the serious erosion challenge in one part of their community immediately they take over the mantle of leadership. The people of Abia ward even in the absence of Engr Osita Ngwu (RG), poured encomium on his person, recalling how he has helped their sons and daughters through employment and empowerment, both the ones known and unknown to him. They equally maintained that all the PDP candidates from the governorship candidate, Barr Peter Mbah, to the house of assembly candidate are all men builders with intimidating track records both in private and public sector, hence ndi Abia are in love with their candidature and will express the love on 25th February and 11th of March 2023 respectively through their vote.
Responding to them, the PDP candidates narrated how in one way or the other the people of Abia has benefited from them as individuals and from the party as a community, urging them to stick and maintain their own part in the social agreement by voting and delivering PDP as they have already agreed and leave the rest for the. Interestingly, one of the highlights of the event in Abia ward was the introduction and welcoming of defectors from the Labour party to the big umbrella of PDP.
Before the commencement of the rally, the PDP candidates were in the palace of the Regent of Agbudu town, Chief Martin Ugada and at the county home of the Igwe elect of Udi ancient kingdom, Controller Sam Aneke (Rtd) and success prayers was offered for them.
In all, it ended in praise. The good people of Udi/Agbudu, Umuabi and Abia Ward have spoken loudly, PDP remains their party and no doubt, their TOMORROW IS HERE!
