Amidst excitement, jubilant crowd who came out with their voter’s cards to demonstrate their readiness to actively participate in the voting exercise expressed their willingness to deliver their son, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi whose administration has greatly transformed Enugu State to become a point of reference in Nigeria since his assumption of office in 2015 after leaving significant massive landmark achievements during his stay in the house of representatives.
The mammoth crowd pledged total support for Barr. Peter Mbah, the PDP gubernatorial candidate of the state and his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah and Hon. Simeon Atigwe. They went on to reassure Udenu PDP Campaign Team of their commitment in mobilising and encouraging their communities to massively vote and deliver all PDP candidates in their various polling units.
While addressing the electrified audience, the running mate of the Enugu State PDP gubernatorial flagbearer, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, expressed his earnest gratitude for the genuine support they have enjoyed from Ndi Udenu during the just concluded Town-hall Meeting and the campaign proper, citing that the love from Orba people is enormous.
"The joy in our hearts for this massive support knows no bounds. We will demonstrate our gratitude to you when we assume office."
The council chairman of Udenu Local Government and the PDP House of Assembly Candidate for Udenu constituency, Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah was overwhelmed by excitement for the heartwarming reception. In his words; "My case is very special, because, even as I hail from Obollo-Eke, Orba people have proven to me that I am a part of you. I was born and brought up in Orba which invariably means that in am from Orba.
The D.G of Udenu campaign, Chief Frank Ugwu appreciated the good people of ORBA for the turn out and enjoined them to remain steadfast in their commitment to the goal and to deliver all the seats with a margin that has never been recorded. They were filled with joy and excitement as different groups sang and danced in celebration of the coming victory for PDP. Orba is PDP and PDP is Orba.
The event was graced by other PDP critical stakeholders in Udenu local government council such as Udenu party chairman and the state commissioner for Finance, Hon. Ada-onah Kene-Uyaune, M.D ENRUASSA, Chief Frank Okenwa Omeje, Hon. Cyril Okanya, Chief Charles Mbah, Hon Nnaemeka Eze (Nani Boi), ENSUBEB Secretary, Dr. Hyginus Eze, Secretary Enugu State Scholarship Board, Barr. Levi Abonyi, Hon. Izuchukwu Eze, elders, religious leaders and traditional rulers in Udenu LGA.
