That none of the stakeholders of the APC in Enugu State is with the charade of leadership and party candidacy the two partners in fraudulent sharp practices, Ugo Agballa and Uche Nnaji, represent respective, points to the fact that the APC in Enugu State is cowering before the brinks of utter deterioration. What happened was that Ugo Agballa by his incompetence, high-handedness and poor attitude to leadership alienated and put off the APC stakeholders. The stakeholders were incensed and peeved at the brazen display of arrant malfeasance and adroitness in financial debauchery with which Uche Nnaji and Ugo Agballa manipulated the affairs of the party in the state.
Uche Nnaji and Ugo Agballa are partners in crime. At no time had the APC in Enugu State had it too hard than now when men with questionable character twisted leadership off the party and usurped its chairmanship and governorship positions respectively. Ugo Agballa and the so-called governorship candidate of the party, Uche Nnaji, like Satan, came to kill, steal and destroy the APC.
Agballa and Nnaji are driven by inordinate kleptomania. And they have begun by allegedly stealing $1.5 million, approximately N1 billion, being the sum presidential aspirants gave to the state delegates to the APC national convention and presidential primaries. The two vultures gnawed at the entrails of the party they purportedly lead. They are the dogs biting the bones hung on their necks. What a shame! The money was given through Ugo Agballa and he and Uche Nnaji pocketed it. This is part of the reason for the protest by members of the party in Abuja, asking that Agballa and Nnaji restitute the money they stole. Agballa was also reportedly said to have embezzled the sum of N238 million being money given by an APC governor from SouthEast for the APC presidential rally scheduled for 11th January, 2023. The time for the anti-graft agencies to investigate and bring to book the two hydra-headed fraudsters is now, and we hereby call on the EFCC to do the needful.
Impatient with the charlatans and fraudulent masqueraders, the APC stakeholders in Enugu State kept Agballa and the roguish Uche Nnaji, a notorious drug baron, at arms length. Seeing that he has no one behind him, except a certain Southeast governor notorious for climbing to power throw judicial charade of the highest shameful order, who had foolishly thought to foist Uche Nnaji on Enugu State through the same legal abracadabra, Nnaji regarded the stakeholders with vile disdain and referred to them as 'food is ready politicians' waiting to share the largesse when he became governor, a most foul wishful thinking.
But no one whose brain is not in the leg would regard such political heavy weights like the former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, former Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Sullivan Chime; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Jeffrey Onyeama; former Senator Ayogu Eze; Osita Okechukwu; Gbazuagu Nweke Gbazuagu; Barr. Eugene Odo and others as 'food is ready politicians.' These men, unlike Ugo Agballa and Uche Nnaji, have pedigree founded on known antecedents of character, competence and capacity. If the carcass of vulture were good meat, the first person would have eaten it. How come it that not even one among the stakeholders is with the Ugo Agballa and Uche Nnaji?
The people of Enugu State have clearly seen those presenting themselves to govern the state. How would anyone in their right senses cast or waste their vote on Uche Nnaji? Besides his questionable character, he, like Chijioke Edeoga of Labour Party, has got no manifesto. All he and Agballa do is keep eye on campaign funds for embezzlement. A. C.Udeh till date remains the authentic chairman of the APC in Enugu State behind whom the stakeholders are united.
Senator Ken Nnamani has stated it clearly that APC in Enugu State as presently constituted under the derelict Ugo Agballa cannot win even a councillorship position in Enugu State. The statesman had spoken from his wisdom and experience. He spoke the unequivocal truth. As it stands, there is no strong opposition in Enugu State. The PDP in its prudence and wisdom has fielded the best governorship candidate whose manifesto is unrivalled, who has the roadmap to the radical changes that would catapult Enugu to astronomical economic growth.
So, the Enugu State APC Stakeholders would avoid Ugo Agballa and Uche Nnaji as one would a leper because besides the moral burden on their heads, they lack idea of what true leadership entails. They are a most incompetent vermin crawling at the corridors of power that have got to be stamped out.
