People's Democratic Party governorship candidate in Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has been endorsed as the best candidate to succeed Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in 2023.
The coalition of the former elected local government council chairmen in Enugu state gave the endorsement at a special courtesy call on the governorship hopeful at his Enugu residence on Monday 9th January 2023.
The Chairman of the association, Hon Sam Ngene who is also the Member representing the good people of Enugu South state constituency (urban) alongside the group secretary, Hon Ogbonna Idike who equally is the Permanent Secretary, ministry of transport, Enugu state who addressed the PDP candidate on behalf of the association, said; findings carried out by the association indicated that Dr. Mbah was the most credible and competent of all the candidates.
They enjoined Ndi-Enugu to vote for the former Chief of Staff, as well as Commissioner for Finance during the governorship elections in few weeks time. They equally resolved to work assiduously as a team to ensure that the PDP candidate wins the poll this year.
"It has become imperative, as an association that wants the best for our people in the state to endorse this credible candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Enugu State that would hold on 11 March 2023, we endorsed Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This endorsement was informed by our people's choice to defend the overall state interest at all times, we have declare emphatically our endorsement and support for Dr. Mbah, owing to his outstanding and quality performance both in the public and private sectors as well as his vast knowledge in administrative, engineering and business acumen.
As the chief executive officer of Pinnacle oil and gas limited, the first ever indigenous oil facility that has been described by the international community, the Nigerian government as the best in the downstream sector which aimed at de-risking the investment flow, is today declared the pride of the nation by the President and commander in Chief of the armed forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. The association went further to say that the structural signatures of Dr. Mbah are written all over the private sector for all to see, believing that the governorship hopeful will impact enough development to the state if elected as governor. They believe that Dr. Mbah has proved his mettle by building durable and solid infrastructures in the oil and gas industry that have stood the test of time.
