Crystal is the fact that in every Contest there must be a winner and a loser, but the beauty of it all is to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.
It was Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd) who was a principal actor in the Nigeria civil war that saw the need for peace and Progress, the need for togetherness and the need for unity when he declared "No victor, no vanguished" after the war in 1970.
Obvious too is the fact that, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi saw the need for peace and Progress that he built the current administration on the foundation of peace by handing our dear State over to the solid hands of God who is the author of peace.
No wonder Ndi Enugu have been enjoying this level of peace for the past seven years.
It was, Jimi Hendrix an American Singer and Guitarist who said "When the love of peace overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace"
The period of politiking has come and gone, some were favoured, some were not favoured but, the need to remember the power comes from God is of Paramount.
It is now time to build our dear State. It is time to consolidate upon the foundation in which Enugu State was found.
If you don't know the man on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he is just like you. He has same dreams, the same hopes and fears. He is one of us and we are together.
Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah knows where we started, he knows where we are at the moment and he knows where we are going to. He knows our challenges as Ndi Enugu, he knows our dreams, and he is ready and prepared to lead Ndi Enugu to the promise Land. He is prepared to consolidate on the peace, Progress and development of our dear Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi
Ndi Enugu, let us support Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Let us consolidate on our gains, let us support our own.
