Dr. Peter Mbah Led Administration to Innovatively Finance Human Capital Development Schemes to Grow Enugu State

After coming to the realization that human capital is the most valuable resource available to the State for generating economic growth, plans to finance the Human Capital Development Schemes have been put in place by Peter Mbah’s administration.

Some of these plans include:

1. Reduce inefficiencies in government expenditures, performance-based accountability systems, and curbing illicit flows of resources and other leakages including corruption.

2. Establishment of Enugu State Innovation Fund (ESIF) and Enugu State Investment Board (ESIB) supported by a dedicated Directorate for investment promotion in the State Cabinet.

3. Work with rating agencies to provide a sub-national rating and a national rating to de-risk investments from global Investors. This will help financial flows from Global Public Investors.
